This is my second inflatable with True Kit. Reliable, excellent quality, and strong customer support. Highly recommended.
Love this thing, lightweight, solid and well built. Perfect for my electric motor for two people and a dog.
Purchased the Navigator 3.0 kit (incl. wheels and seat bag) as tender for our 10m catamaran. Delivery was super quick to Melb/Australia, even though we were prewarned to expect a delay. The TrueKit is so much lighter than previous hard hulled inflatable, which is very noticeable when it's stored on davits at stern. With sling under the bow and hard fixtures (factory installed stainless eyelets) on stern, it sits perfectly on davits. Gets on plain easily with 5hp 2stroke o/b. Very happy with purchase. PVC used on tubes is yet to mark so seems much better quality than previous, although yet see how it ages. Plan to buy/make cover and/or chaps to provide further protection from UV. With the inflatable floor, the hull is higher than a traditional hard hull which takes getting used to. But otherwise no complaints.
The boat arrived damaged and a severe dent. I habe emailed true kit many times for a repalcement and have been ignored.
True Kit Discovery - Inflatable Catamaran Landing Craft
Tested out my navigator 300 today and it exceeded my expectations.
I was very unsure what engine to pair it with and couldn’t find many test comparisons with the navigator and smaller engines. I didn’t want to carry around the weight of a 9.9 and was unsure if the performance of a 6hp would merit the upgrade from a 2.5-3hp. Ultimately I was very happy with the boat and the 6hp. Hopefully my data point below is helpful to someone else.
True kit navigator 300. Yamaha 6hp 4 stroke, short shaft. Stock prop. No permatrim. Conditions were relatively flat water just the chop you’d expect in about 12kts of breeze. The boat was easily able to plane at about 16mph with a 3gal aux tank forward, myself, and a passenger (270lbs combined). Did not notice any issues with ventilation or cavitation. The leg of the motor does kick up some spray at speed, but it’s fortunately blocked by the solid transom.

We’re very pleased with our newly purchased inflatable boat. The design is well thought out and suits our needs perfectly for caravanning around New Zealand, especially for fishing and hunting trips. The stability has been excellent, giving us confidence on the water. Overall, a great purchase that’s performing exactly as we hoped. Thanks True Kit team.
QuickLok Dinghy Launching Wheels (Self-Installation)
My family loves this dinghy. Kids (3&5) love you lay over the front of the boat watching the water go by in the shallows. I love the boat cause it’s almost the same weight and pack size as my old high field but way bigger of a boat
Good quality well made item. Fits perfectly to make pulling the 3.3m inflatable easily.
Product and service was the best ive ever had
Absolutely love this product
So initially I had some trouble with some of the seams giving out on my first bag. But TrueKit reached out, and sent me a new one! I’m looking forward to many more trips on the water with this bag holding my snacks and essentials👍👍🫶
Thanks for your review Ian. This is the first time we have heard from you about this issue and will act on this immediately. True Kit bags are designed to last and we stand behind our products so will replace this item. From the True Kit Team
My hubby loves his new boat, seat bag allows him to keep the boat today and take more items on-board
One of the few things bought off the internet that exceeds its advertising! Great for kids and adults alike. Fun float to jump from to the ease of pulling up to a sandbar. I could even deflate it and pack it in its travel bag. This is my 6th similar product and the best overall of the bunch.
Quality materials. Excellent design. Easy to deploy.
